Most of us aspire to reach excellence in our fields. Some of us reach the peak of our careers during adulthood, but some are so talented and skilled during childhood that they are comparable or even superior to adults. Just like this 4 year old boy with impressive mathematics skills.
(Watch the video below…)
Miguel Secillano III or simply Miko, is a typical 4-year old boy.
According to his father, Mr. Philip John Secillano from Bicol Philippines now living in Florida, Miko loves to play. He is sweet, thoughtful, naughty, playful and sometimes stubborn just like any other 4 year old boy.
He started to read when he was 2 years old.
At 3 years old he got interested with maps.
You can just give him a blank map and he can name which country is which. he also knows its capitals and 227 world flags.
Mr. Secillano introduced Math to Miko when he was 2 years old and it wasn’t that easy.
I introduced Math when he was 2 but he would always budge though he knew how to count 1-100 by then but he just don’t want everytime I ask him arithmetic so we did not bother to teach because its not worth forcing a kid to learn if they don’t like.
But when he turned 4, Miko showed interest in numbers. So Mr. Secillano taught him arithmetic and more!
When he turned 4, he’s more interested with numbers, so as soon we noticed that, I taught him arithmetic and it goes on to fractions, factoring numbers, exponents, geometry and some pre algebra.
